1)  is prepared in a manner that consists of bite-sized proportions, or can easily be made into a bite-sized proportions with the utensils provided, without demanding excessive dexterity from the diner.

2)  is served comfortably temperate and designed to be consumed as such, so as to not painfully burn or uncomfortably chill most palates, taking into consideration that some diners may be extra sensitive.

3)  is not overly sweet, salty, bitter, or spicy that it causes diners to desire palate cleansers or flavor dilluting water and beverages; perspiration during meals does not make for a graceful dining experience.

4)  can be easily consumed in a manner that does not disturb any facial cosmetics such as lipstick, and does not require diners with longer hairstyles to take extra precautions that would hinder a casual experience.

5)  is of a consistency that does not demand significant chewing strength, and is less likely to cause bits to be trapped between teeth during chewing; including for the elderly, infirm, or those with sensitive dentures.

6)  is presented in a manner that is visually appealing and clearly indicates care, but not so pretentiously complex and artistic that it intimidates diners or conveys a sense of wanton self-aggrandizement.

7)  is nutritious and delicious while taking into account food allergies; the overall meal's proportion satisfying without being stuffy, and consumed at a leisurely pace either individually or with social companions.
